Before the race, Cool Dads Rock hosts a Build Day, where parents and kids can work on their soapbox racers with help from experienced builders. All you need for Build Day are the materials for creating your car. The CDR team will provide all of the tools that you need for construction, along with plenty of friendly support.

For families and racers alike, the day builds up to the big moment when the Soapbox Derby race begins. The race kicks off at 12:30 pm, with families lining the street to take in the action.
