Father's Day Atlanta-JYB Realty

Your dad is your hero year-round, but on the day set aside to honor him, you want to be his hero. Atlanta has lots of options for taking Dad out on Father's Day. Our real estate agents can help you find the right event to celebrate your dad's unique style.  

Here are some suggestions:

  1. Take Him Out To The Ballpark - Atlanta Braves vs. Philadelphia Phillies, Suntrust Park, 755 Battery Ave. SE
    Nothing like a day at the ballpark to celebrate family and tradition. Take your dad to see the Braves take on the Philadelphia Phillies at Suntrust Park. If he especially loves baseball, consider getting the special ticket package that lets you take your dad onto the field to play catch.  

  2. Family Feasting – Family Food Fest Atlanta, The Georgia Freight Depot, 65 Martin Luther King Blvd.  
    Want to hobnob with Atlanta celebrities, learn to cook from a big-name chef, and eat some really good food with your dad? Head over to The Georgia Freight Depot for Family Food Fest Atlanta. This year, Food Network Star Jernard Wells will be giving cooking demonstrations, and Representative John Lewis and Atlanta Councilman Andre Dickies are expected to join the festivities.  

  3. Jammin' To Some Tunes - Father/Daughter Dance, Delta Flight Museum, 1606 Delta Blvd.
    Do you and your dad share a love of moving the music? Take him to the Father/Daughter Dance at the Delta Flight Museum. Sponsored by the Ryan Cameron Foundation, this annual event lets girls and their dads enjoy an elegant evening together, as well as supports the foundation's work with youth.  

  4. High Tech 5K at Consumer Tech Innovation Festival, Georgia State Stadium
    For the dad who's quick on his feet, the best Father's Day celebration might be hitting the streets of Atlanta for the High Tech 5K. Merging a love of running with a love of all things technology, this race runs through the streets of Atlanta and ends in the Georgia State Stadium, the former 1996 Olympic Stadium. This race is professionally chipped and is an AJC Peachtree Road Race qualifier.    

  1. Juneteenth ATL, The Home Depot Backyard, 1 Backyard Way
    Juneteenth ATL is a fantastic way to be together, enjoying a classic Atlanta festival. Saturday will feature a parade showcasing black history, while the rest of the weekend will be chock full of music, poetry, interesting art, and yummy food.
