Currently in its 13th season, the Peachtree Road Farmers Market is one of the state's largest producer-only markets. Since everything sold here is raised, grown, or made directly by the seller, you can feel confident you're getting great quality products at honest prices. This market is home to over 50 weekly vendors. There's also live music and a chef demo every week at 10 a.m. The market is open on Saturday mornings from March 2nd through December 14th.
- East Atlanta Village Farmers Market: 572 Stokeswood Ave. SE, Atlanta
One of the oldest farmer's markets in the city, East Atlanta Village Farmers Market has been voted the best outdoor farmers market five years in a row. Here you'll find local produce and food items and artisan goods like jewelry and soaps. While most farmers markets are held on the weekends, this one is held Thursday evenings from April 11th through November 21st.
Plan to spend some time here, they have plenty of seats where you can relax. While you're visiting the market, stop by to check out the chef's cooking demos and the edible learning garden. Voted best farmer's market by Atlanta Magazine and Creative Loafing, Grant Park Farmers Market offers an exceptional shopping adventure. They have a huge array of weekly vendors offering local produce, meats, freshly made bread, food, beverages, and handmade goods. The market is open on Sundays from April 7th through December 15th.
- The Green Market at Piedmont Park: 1071 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta
Offering a wide selection of produce, jams, preserves, baked goods, and artisan crafts, The Green Market at Piedmont Park has something for everyone. Relax and enjoy the local live music, stop by the chef's demonstration, and take a walk over to the information booth where you can join a walking history tour. This market is open on Saturdays from March 30th through November.
- Freedom Farmers Market: 453 John Lewis Freedom Pkwy NE, Atlanta
The Freedom Farmers Market is also open on Saturdays all year long. Here you'll find a wide selection of produce, meat, dairy products, eggs, fresh pasta, coffee preserves, and baked goods. From March through December, they also have live music, a kids tent, and a local chef preparing hot foods.
