Enjoy Wine, Beer & More at These Atlanta Events
According to Founding Father Benjamin Franklin, "There cannot be good living where there is not good drinking." Sample the wide variety of top-quality beer and wine brands available near Atlanta homes for sale at these festive upcoming events.
- Valentines in the Garden - Atlanta Botanical Garden, 1345 Piedmont Ave., Atlanta, GA 30309
Sip Valentine's Day cocktails, sample savory bites and desserts from top Atlanta chefs, and enjoy themed music and decor from the past 80 years at Valentines in the Garden from 7 - 11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14 at the beautiful Atlanta Botanical Garden. This year's theme of "Decades of Love" will feature a '50s sock hop, a '70s disco dance floor, and an '80s "totally tubular" prom. Dance the night away and don't forget to participate in the group vow renewals at 7:45 and 8:45 p.m.
VIP tickets cost $165 per couple for members and $175 per couple for non-members and allow for early admission at 6:30 p.m., two drink tickets, and two corsages or boutonnieres. General admission is $45 for garden members and $50 for non-members.

The popular Atlanta event will be hosted by the Fairmont, the hottest new venue in West Midtown. Polished concrete floors, 21-foot ceilings, and dramatic clerestory windows highlight this industrial-chic space. Celebrate Leap Day in true Southern style at the fifth annual Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival. Billed as a "pork-out," this event features a whole smoked hog along with 60 beer and 40 bourbon selections. In honor of Leap Year, a number of international whiskeys and Scotches will be included. Try your hand at cornhole and other games, or hit the dance floor as DJs spin the hottest tunes.
Do you have an impressive beer belly? Maybe you can down unlimited amounts of bacon. See where you rate in the Main Stage contests. Get your grub on from 2 - 6 p.m. on Saturday, February 29. Tickets are $39. VIP session runs from noon - 6 p.m. and includes exclusive tasting stations for $89. All tickets come with a souvenir glass.
