Farmers Markets for 2020 - JYB Realty

Summer is coming, and there are a lot of reasons to be excited about it. Farm-fresh produce at our local farmers markets is one of them. Just like many of you, our real estate agents are happy to see life gradually return to normal, and we can't wait to get out and stock up at these Atlanta area farmers markets.

Best Farmers Markets in Atlanta

Georgia offers endless acres of fertile farmland, and Atlanta is right in the heart of it. From fresh fruits and vegetables to arts, crafts, and local goods of all kinds, you never know what you'll find at these Atlanta markets.

  • East Atlanta Village Farmers Market - 572 Stokeswood Ave. SE, Atlanta, GA 30316
One of the oldest farmers markets in Atlanta, the East Atlanta Village Farmers Market has been one of the city's leading source for farm-fresh goods since 2006. Currently open every Thursday from 4 to 8 pm, the market is just minutes from these Atlanta homes for sale, and offers an endless selection of sustainably and ethically produced produce, meat, baked goods, eggs, and other goods.

  • Grant Park Farmers Market - 600 Cherokee Ave. SE, Atlanta, GA 30312
Every Sunday from 9 am to 1 pm, the Grant Park Farmer's Market is one of Atlanta's favorite places to stock up on locally-grown veggies, bread, meat, and artisanal foods. The market is located in historic Grand Park, just outside the Beacon Atlanta and Eventide Brewing. It's pet-friendly too, so feel free to bring your four-legged friends as long as they're on a leash!

  • Peachtree Road Farmers Market - 2744 Peachtree Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30305
Looking for something to do bright and early Saturday morning? The Peachtree Road Farmers Market is open during their regular hours this season (8:30 am to noon every Saturday) and you're invited to attend. You can even call ahead for curbside pickup if you'd rather not spend too much time out among the crowds. The folks at Peachtree Road Farmers Market are currently asking that all attendees wear masks, and please leave pets at home.

  • Freedom Farmers Market - 453 John Lewis Freedom Parkway NE, Atlanta, GA 30307
Freedom Farmers Market is an essential source of fresh, healthy produce in the Atlanta area, and they're still open every Saturday from 9 am to noon. A few restrictions are temporarily in place to keep people safe during COVID-19. At present, only 50 visitors are allowed in the market at a time, and all attendees must stand at least 6 feet apart. Cooking, eating, and drinking are not permitted on-site.

  • Morningside Farmers Market - 1393 N. Highland Ave. NE, Atlanta, GA 30306
Established in 1995, Morningside Farmers Market is a smaller-scale farmers market, and it's a place where you really get to know all the farmers. It's also the only farmers market in Atlanta where all the produce must be certified organic, so you always know you're making a healthy choice! They're open every Saturday from 8 to 11:30 am!
