  The 6,000 square-foot Dogwood Library is a medium-sized branch of the Fulton County Library System. While there are much larger libraries in the area, we enjoy the laid-back atmosphere this branch provides. It was recently remodeled, and the white, green, and purple color scheme creates a soothing vibe that makes you want to stay all day. Next time you're in the mood to borrow some books, head over and check it out. It's likely to become your favorite library branch. 

• Vinings Public Library: 4290 Paces Ferry Rd. SE, Atlanta, GA 30339
  Another excellent option for book borrowing, the Vinings Public Library is a beloved part of the community. It's common for residents to visit this location once a week or more. If you're not quite comfortable being around people yet, you can take advantage of their curbside hold pickup and outdoor book drops. This will allow you to enjoy all the books you want while still maintaining minimal contact. 

• Children Read Atlanta: 2936M N. Druid Hills Rd. NE, Atlanta, GA 30329
  If you have extra children's books around your home, consider donating them to Children Read Atlanta. This incredible organization helps improve children's' reading skills by giving them books of their own before they reach kindergarten. Sadly, 61% of lower-income families have no children's books in their homes. Donating gently-used or new pre-kindergarten-level books can help make a lasting change. 

• American Kidney Services: 6360 Button Gwinnett Dr., Atlanta, GA 30340
  If you're looking for someplace to donate other types of books, look no further than the American Kidney Fund. This Atlanta-based nonprofit organization provides direct financial assistance to kidney patients across the country. They have multiple donation drop-off locations and will also pick up your book donations. You can find out more by giving them a call at 866-766-1957 or completing their convenient online form. If your bookshelves are packed, consider doing some light decluttering. This will allow you to create some space while also make a positive contribution to the community.
