  Affectionately referred to as "the Fred," the Frederick J. Brown Jr. Amphitheater is one of the top-performing arts venues in the state. The 2,500-seat facility features a mix of table, theater-style, and lawn seating nestled in a serene wooded area. Artists who have taken the stage at the Fred include Blind Boys of Alabama, Pat Benatar, and the Atlanta Pops Orchestra.
  
  
• Flat Creek Nature Area - 201 McIntosh Trail, Peachtree City, GA 30269
  Even when there are no shows at the Fred, it's worth the trip to visit Flat Creek Nature Area. The 513-acre grounds include a 1,200-foot boardwalk with two viewing decks overlooking the creek to take in the scenery. Kids have fun watching for white-tailed deer, great blue herons, and other birds and wildlife that make frequent appearances. Leashed dogs are welcome. Hours are 7 a.m.- 7 p.m. daily.
  
  
• Southern Hollywood Film Tour
  The South has long been a favorite location for movies and TV shows. Peachtree City is the jumping-off point for Southern Hollywood Film Tour, a two-hour drive highlighting sites of popular films and shows such as The Walking Dead, Fried Green Tomatoes, and  Spider-Man: Homecoming. All tours are $30 each.
