Atlanta Wine Bars for Moscato - JYB Realty

Moscato is a sweet, white wine known for its notes of peach and citrus. It has been enjoyed as a dessert wine for years but has recently gained popularity as a casual, summer drinking wine. If you enjoy Moscato, then of course you have to celebrate National Moscato Day on May 9th! Here are some of the top Atlanta wine bars our real estate agents recommend visiting for a glass.

  • Storico Vino: 3065 Peachtree Rd. NE, STE B210, Atlanta, GA 30305
Storico Vino is a classic Italian restaurant with a lovely wine bar in Buckhead Village. You can order a glass of Moscato and enjoy it either at the bar or on the outdoor patio.

While you're here, you might as well enjoy dinner. The Tajarin Pasta, made with butter and sage, would complement Moscato nicely. The Salone in Padella would be another good choice. This is a salmon fillet served with couscous, cherry tomatoes, red onion, cucumbers, and capers.

  • Ziba's Bistro: 560 Boulevard SE, Atlanta, GA 30305
Ziba's Bistro is a casual yet classy bistro restaurant with a great wine selection. This would be a great place to stop for a late lunch or an early dinner on National Moscato Day.

A good dish to enjoy with your Moscato is the apple salad. It has a lovely balance of flavors with cranberries and dates. If you're in the mood for dessert, you can't go wrong with the strawberry shortcake. The buttery biscuits bring out the fruity notes in your wine.

  • Lucian Books and Wine: 3005 Peachtree Rd., Atlanta, GA 30305
If you like curling up with a good book while you sip your wine, you need to visit Lucian Books and Wine. Here, you can read fiction or nonfiction, all while enjoying tasty sips and nibbles.

In addition to great wines, Lucian offers a lovely dinner menu with options like halibut with artichokes and fennel, blood orange panna cotta, and chicken liver pate with peach marmalade and toast. Or, you can order a cheese plate to share with friends.

  • Terra Terroir: 3974 Peachtree Rd., Atlanta, GA 30319
Take a break from looking at Atlanta homes for sale, and sit down at Terra Terroir with a glass of Moscato. This hidden gem has an upscale vibe and will make you feel pampered. There are actually two different wine lists—one curated by the chef and another by the sommelier.

Terra Terroir has a great selection of small plates. Guests enjoy their buratta mozzarella with heirloom tomatoes and their pan-seared sea scallops. Don't leave without trying the peach cobbler for dessert. It echos the peach notes in Moscato beautifully.

  • El Vinedo Local: 730 Peachtree St. NE, Suite 100, Atlanta, GA 30308
El Vinedo Local specializes in South American cuisines, and they also have an extensive wine list. If you stop by for dinner and a glass of wine, you have to try the empanadas. They come in several varieties, including traditional Uruguayan beef and skillet-braised spinach and mushroom.

Another fun thing to order here are the pinchos, or skewers. Nibbling on a skewer of octopus, beef filet, or chicken is a lovely way to accompany your wine. Order a second glass to enjoy alongside a tarta de chocolate for dessert.

National Moscato Day is bound to be delightful if you celebrate at any of these venues. If you're thinking of moving to Atlanta and are looking for a home to buy, feel free to contact us. Our friendly, experienced real estate agents would be happy to help.
