Before long, 2022 will draw to a close, and we'll ring in the New Year: 2023. Whether you're in the mood for fireworks, music, or a quiet gathering with friends, there are plenty of places to ring in the New Year in Atlanta. Here are some of the top parties and celebrations our real estate agents recommend checking out.
- Georgia Aquarium New Year's Celebration: 225 Baker St. Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30313
The Georgia Aquarium is hosting a New Year's Celebration beginning at 8:30 p.m on December 31st. This is an adult-only event, and general admission tickets are $125 per person. Or, you can purchase a VIP ticket for $195. Attendees enjoy appetizers from 8:30 - 10:30 pm, along with a midnight snack. Browsing the aquarium exhibits at night is a unique and memorable experience. There will also be a live dueling piano show, a midnight countdown, and a party in the atrium. Formal or cocktail attire is suggested. Tickets must be purchased in advance; they will not be sold at the door.
- The Peach Drop: 50 Upper Alabama St., Atlanta, GA 30303
In Atlanta, we don't drop a ball; we drop a peach! The Peach Drop is returning this year at Underground Atlanta. This event is hosted in conjunction with the Coca-Cola Company and is expected to draw around 60,000 people.
Guests can arrive any time after 6 p.m. In the hours leading up to midnight, there will be live music on stage. Just make sure you bring a jacket as you'll be outside all evening.
- New Year's Bubble Bash: 275 Centennial Olympic Park Dr. NW, Atlanta, GA 30313
