• Skate the Station - 1371 Market St., Atlanta, GA 30363
  From November 17 - January 15, stop by Atlantic Station for Skate the Station, a seasonal skating event for all ages. You must purchase a ticket in advance on the event website. Each ticket includes rental skates. If you plan on skating more than once, you can save money by buying a season pass!
  
  Skate the Station is open Monday - Friday from 4- 10 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m., and Sunday from noon - 8 p.m. 
  
  
• Illuminights at the Zoo - 800 Cherokee Ave. SE, Atlanta, GA 30315
  If you've been thinking of visiting the Atlanta Zoo, this is the perfect time! Illuminights is a Lantern Festival at the Zoo. From November 14 - January 19, displays will be brilliantly lit, allowing you to admire the attractions in a whole new way.
  
  Hot cocoa will be for sale, with the option of added spirits. The zoo also offers a marshmallow roast, which is a great way to keep warm on a chilly night. General admission starts at $20.99 for adults, with discounted rates available for children, seniors, and zoo members.
  
  
• Winter Wonderland - 767 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA 30307
  Winter Wonderland: Celebrations & Traditions Around the World is a holiday celebration at Fernbank in Atlanta. This celebration features trees and other decorative displays that honor a variety of cultural traditions from around the world. Countries to be represented include Peru, Turkey, Switzerland, Argentina, and Norway.
  
  This celebration will last through January 12. It's included with general admission to the Fernbank Museum, and funding is provided by the Nissan Foundation. This is the 15th year the museum has hosted Winter Wonderland, and it's sure to be a great one.
  
  
• Holidays at Georgia Aquarium - 225 Baker St. NW, Atlanta, GA 30313
  If you have little ones, the Georgia Aquarium is always a great place to visit. And if you visit in December, you get to enjoy Holidays at the Georgia Aquarium. The space will be transformed with holiday-themed music, winter projections, and an enormous, living holiday tree.
  
  Children can enjoy having their photo taken with Santa, and there are even holiday-themed dolphin shows to watch. The gift shop will be selling special, holiday-themed gifts, too. Tickets are available on the aquarium's website, and buying ahead is recommended during this busy season. 
  
  
• Stone Mountain Christmas - 100 Robert E. Lee Blvd., Stone Mountain, GA 30083
  Stone Mountain Christmas is a multi-month celebration taking place at Stone Mountain Park. It lasts through January 5. You can enjoy glistening decorations, festive music, holiday-themed treats, and more daily.
  
  As a part of the event, you can also purchase tickets for specific attractions. There's a Christmas Drone & Light Show, along with Santa's Flight. Don't miss the chance to journey through the Musical Frosted Forest, which comes alive with lights and sounds. Christmas Carolers will be singing each night, too!
