Dinoverse: an Epic Journey to the Jurassic

Dinoverse is the latest immersive exhibit to open at the Atlanta Art Center's Exhibition Hub. Not for the faint of heart, this three-part experience begins with a 30-minute walking VR program that puts you face-to-face with virtual versions of some of the Jurassic period's most iconic dinosaurs.

Since the facility only has a limited number of VR headsets, you'll need to book a specific time slot to purchase tickets for this activity. Admission costs just $19.90 per adult, $16.90 per teenager under 18, or $14.90 per kid under 12 if you visit on a Wednesday. You can save more money by purchasing tickets as part of a group or family bundle. 

Bubble Planet

Next door to Dinoverse, you'll find Bubble Planet. This whimsical playground is only around for a limited time. The experience features twelve distinct locations, including: 

• The LED Room, a fantastical glowing landscape that will make you feel like you've stepped onto the seafloor 
• Bubble Ocean, a soothing space overflowing with pink balloons that move like they have a life of their own 
• The Infinity Room, a room covered with continuous illusions of bubbles stretching as far as the eye can see 

Most people finish walking through all 12 exhibits in 60 to 90 minutes. Tickets for off-peak days cost as little as $23.90 per adult or $18.90 per child under 12. Kids under 2 can visit for free with an adult.  

iFLY Atlanta

Who hasn't wondered what it would be like to fly? At iFLY, you can make that dream a reality. This company offers indoor skydiving experiences all over North America. Their downtown Atlanta facility is equipped with a powerful wind tunnel that blasts high-speed air from beneath the fly space. When you drop into the vertical tunnel shaft, the winds will push you up and slow your fall, simulating the experience of flight. 

Flights last around 60 seconds each, but the adrenaline rush makes them feel much longer. Their beginner packages include two flights for $120 per person. Packages with extra flights start at $180 per person, and group pricing is available for groups of up to 13 flyers.  

The Splatter Studio

The World of Coca-Cola interactive museum offers guests the inside scoop on how the humble health tonic became one of the most recognizable beverages in the world. You'll visit exhibits like: 

• Coca-Cola Stories, an exhibit on Coca-Cola's early days, its swift global expansion, and its rise to pop culture dominance 
• Scent Discovery, an innovative sensory activity that explains the role scent plays in memory formation and challenges you to identify some of the key ingredients in Coca-Cola by smell alone 
• Beverage Lab, an interactive chemistry lab where you can experiment with different flavors to create your own unique drink 

General admission ticket prices start at $23 per adult or $19 per child aged 3 to 12. Seniors and college students get discounted tickets, while military members get in for free. Guided tours are also available starting at $45 per person.
